Other inspirations were Spider-Man and Wolverine. Liefeld states: “Wolverine and Spider-Man were the two properties deadpool plush toy I was competing with at all times. I didn’t have those, I didn’t have access to those. I had to make my own Spider-Man and Wolverine. That’s what Cable and Deadpool were meant to be, my own Spider-Man and my own Wolverine.”

Both Deadpool and Cable were also meant to be tied into Wolverine’s history already from the start, as Liefeld describes: “Wolverine was my guy. If I could tie anything into Wolverine, I was winning.” Like Wolverine, Deadpool is (or is thought to be) Canadian.[19] The original story had him joining the deadpool plush toy Weapon X program after being kicked out of the U.S. Army Special Forces and given an artificial healing factor based on Wolverine’s thanks to Dr. Emrys Killebrew, one of the head scientists.

The series was taken over by Christopher Priest who noted that he found Kelly’s issues to be “complex and a little hostile to new readers like me” and that by issue 37, he realized that “it was okay to make Deadpool deadpool plush toy look stupid.” Kelly may have introduced Deadpool to breaking the fourth wall, but Priest “could be credited for establishing it as an essential part of the character’s personality and worldview.” Priest left the series after only one year at issue #45.

2000s
For a time, writers who followed generally ignored the fourth wall entirely, until Gail Simone took over with issue #65. Her version is remembered for the frequent use of the “little yellow boxes.”[23] Deadpool lasted until issue #69, at which point it was relaunched as a new title with a similar character called Agent X in 2002. This occurred during a line-wide revamp of X-Men related deadpool plush toy comics, with Cable becoming Soldier X and X-Force becoming X-Statix. Simone notes that “When I took the Deadpool job, the revamp hadn’t been planned, so it was a complete surprise. Thankfully, we heard about it in time to make adjustments to the early scripts.”[25] It appeared that Deadpool was killed in an explosion fighting the supervillain Black Swan. Deadpool’s manager, Sandi Brandenberg later founded Agency X with a mysterious man called Alex Hayden, who took the name dubbed Agent X.

Another Deadpool series by Gischler titled Deadpool Corps was released in April 2010. Besides Deadpool himself, this series featured alternate versions of Deadpool, including Lady Deadpool (who debuted in Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth #7), Headpool (the Marvel Zombies universe incarnation, now deadpool plush toy reduced to a severed head), and two new characters; Kidpool, a child, and Dogpool, a dog.[44] The series lasted twelve issues.

Marvel also published Deadpool titles through the Marvel Knights and MAX imprints: Deadpool: Wade Wilson’s War, by Duane Swierczynski and Jason Pearson, and Deadpool MAX by David Lapham and Kyle Baker.

Deadpool (vol. 2) was written by Daniel Way and drawn by Alé Garza. In the story arc “DEAD”, Wade is “cured” of his healing ability and becomes mortal. As a side effect, he also has his old, unscarred face once again. deadpool plush toy Although he spent the majority of the story arc looking forward to dying, he suppresses his desires in order to protect his friend and sidekick Hydra Bob.

After he loses his healing factor, Wilson claims he felt “more alive than ever.” However, after a harsh beating from Intelligencia, Wade realized that he had let his ability to heal compensate for skill so he decided to ask for help from Taskmaster in training. deadpool plush toy Taskmaster asked Wilson to help him steal Pym Particles from S.H.I.E.L.D., but actually, he allowed Black Box to study Wade in order to prepare his vengeance against Wilson, even letting him know Deadpool lost his healing factor.

Madcap additionally returned to Deadpool’s life, though Wade was unaware his experience inside his mind left Madcap emotionally damaged and vengeful. Madcap initially posed as an ally, joining the Mercs for Money, but eventually showed his true intentions after he was discovered impersonating Deadpool to defame and threaten his loved onces. Seeing as he had had enough fun, Madcap used an alien weapon to molecularly disintegrate himself. For his second coming, the villain had Deadpool unwittingly become the carrier of a deadly airborne deadpool plush toy virus with which he infected his family. Wade found a cure, though had to resort to Cable’s evil clone Stryfe to find it. Around this time, tensions between Shiklah’s domain and the surface word sparked an invasion of Manhattan from Monster Metropolis, which in turn led to Shiklah divorcing Deadpool, opting to return to Dracula instead.

Not long after Wade joined the Avengers Unity Division, the real Steve Rogers was secretly supplanted by an evil fascist counterpart from another timeline that operated as a Hydra sleeper agent within the superhero community. When Phil Coulson became suspicious of Steve, Rogers convinced Deadpool to kill him, claiming that Coulson had gone rogue. A short time afterwards, Captain deadpool plush toy America’s machinations resulted in Hydra rising to power, taking over the United States of America. When Hydra’s conquest had barely begun, Preston found out about Coulson’s death, and confronted Deadpool about it. The fight ended in Preston’s death. As Hydra’s empire grew stronger, Wade joined its own version of the Avengers out of blind loyalty for Captain America. Plagued by guilt, Wade held back when tasked with hunting down the rebel alliance known as the Underground, and eventually helped, behind the scenes, to lay part of the foundation of Hydra’s eventual defeat.

Deadpool is depicted as having a regenerative healing factor, which not only prevents him from being permanently injured through enhanced cell regeneration throughout his body, but also causes psychosis and mental instability, as his neurons are also affected by the accelerated regeneration. It is thought that while his psychosis is a handicap, it is also one of his assets as they make him an extremely unpredictable opponent. Taskmaster, who has photo-reflexive memory which allows him to copy anyone’s fighting skills by observation, was unable to defeat Deadpool due to his chaotic and improvised fighting style. deadpool plush toy Taskmaster has also stated that Deadpool is an expert at distracting his opponents.

Gameplay

Resident Evil 2 is a remake of the 1998 game Resident Evil 2 released for the PlayStation. Unlike the original, which uses tank controls and fixed camera angles, the remake features “over-the-shoulder” third-person shooter gameplay similar to Resident Evil 4.

Additionally, the standard difficulty mode allows players to save as often as they’d like inside safe rooms. If the player chooses to play on “Hardcore” difficulty, players will be required to collect and use a finite number of “ink ribbons” to save the game’s progress, much like in the original game.

As with the original game, the remake of Resident Evil 2 offers the option to play through the main campaign with one of neca resident evil two protagonists, the rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy or the college student Claire Redfield. Depending on the player’s choice, the main story will be experienced with variations in subplots, accessible areas, and obtainable items.

Similar to the “Scenario B” feature of the original game, beating the main campaign for the first time unlocks the option to play through a “2nd Run” as the other protagonist. 2nd Run is a variation of the main campaign that adds additional content to frame the second playthrough as occurring concurrently with the first playthrough. For example, the protagonist in 2nd Run will enter the police station from a different entrance and find several doors already unlocked by neca resident evil the protagonist from the first playthrough. Completing 2nd Run is also required to experience the true ending of the main campaign.

He hypnotizes the citizens of Mario Land with a magic spell[5] and scatters the six Golden Coins, the keys to the castle, across Mario Land. WarioWare is a collection of short, simple games, called “microgames,” presented in quick succession. Each of the microgames lasts about three to five seconds and failing to complete it costs the player a life. wario plush toy The games may seem simple; for instance, a microgame may require the player to pop a balloon, pick a nose, zap a spaceship, or make Wario collect coins in a maze styled after those in Pac-Man. The numerous microgames are linked together randomly and steadily increase in speed and difficulty as the player progresses. On each level, stuffed animal players are allowed four losses only. Also frequently appearing are boss games, which are considerably longer and more complex than the other stages; upon completing these, the player can regain a lost life (with a maximum of four). In addition to the microgame stages, WarioWare games also feature unlockable extra modes and “full” minigames. wario plush toy

The final battle with Wario consists of three stages. The first stage consists of Wario charging across the room and stomping the ground, which causes the lights moving across the ceiling above to fall. wario plush toy During the second stage, Wario uses a Carrot and transforms into Bunny Wario. In this form, Wario leaps up and flutters across the screen before finally slamming the ground, again causing lights to fall from above. Finally, during the final stage of the battle,Wario Wario uses a Fire Flower and turns into Fire Wario. Mario vs. Wario

Wario makes his first, full non-game appearance in North America in Mario vs. Wario, a comic published by Nintendo Power.

Actually, Wario has prepared a trap for Mario, wanting to get revenge on him for Mario constantly “bullying” wario plush toy Wario in their youth; Wario especially hated playing cowboys with Mario, as he was always the rustler who was captured by “Sheriff Mario” and locked away. stuffed animal

As Mario makes his way to Wario’s fortress, he defeats all of Wario’s minions, oblivious to the fact they are trying to kill him. Meanwhile, an angered Wario watches Mario. Eventually, Mario reaches wario plush toy Wario’s home and is confronted by a giant-sized Wario. As Wario begins trying to pummel Mario, Wario’s opponent notices a plug on him and pulls it, deflating Wario’s giant look-a-like costume.

After listening to Wario calling him a bully, Mario says that he didn’t mean to “bully” Wario 20 years ago and apologizes. wario plush toy Wario, after hearing this apology, turns over a new leaf, unfortunately, Mario suddenly pulls out a cowboy costume and “convinces” Wario to play cowboys again, with Mario as the sheriff once again.

The plots of these games center on Wario, his company WarioWare, Inc., and his friends in Diamond City who develop microgames for his company. These cutscenes are split into two parts, the first stuffed animal one shown before the developer’s respective microgame stage, and the latter part appearing after the player beats the stage.

Grabbing the jack-in-the-box, Wario pays for it and wraps it. wario plush toy

Later on, while at Princess Toadstool’s party, Wario makes several unsuccessful attempts to switch the jack-in-the-box with present. 1/ The Catfish In The Swamp Of Evil Is Based On Japanese Folklore

Many elements of games, especially creatures, will often get inspiration from some type of folklore or story. The game creators had to get inspiration from somewhere. This is especially true for fantasy games that are dealing with a lot of unusual creatures and monsters. Why create something from scratch when you can borrow an idea? legend of zelda plush

In A Link to the Past, the catfish that resides in the Swamp of Evil is actually based of a creature from an 18th century Japanese tale about the catfish Namazu. This creature would wiggle its body in the water, bringing chaos and destruction to the land. The rocks that you see sticking out of the swamp surrounding the catfish in the game represent Namazu’s prison. It’s a great reference to a more obscure folklore tale. zelda plush

2/ You Can Get A Blue Shield

While A Link to the Past doesn’t give you much choice in customizing your equipment’s appearance, there is one trick you can do. While you normally possess a red shield throughout the game, you can actually get a blue one. All you need is your red shield and an Ether medallion. Here’s what you need to do.

You need to go find a Pinket (those enemies that try to eat you and end up eating your shield). When you face it, make sure you use the Ether medallion. Let the Pinket take your shield. Once it has your shield, kill it. Your shield will reappear and once you pick it back up, it will turn blue. If you want to turn your shield back to red, just use the same process again. While this doesn’t change the properties of the shield itself, it is a fun trick for gamers that want to change up the look of their shield in a game that doesn’t really leave much room for personalization. legend of zelda plush

3/ The Japanese Release Of The Game Had A Different Title

In the original release of the game, the title read Legend of Zelda: Triforce of the Gods. This title makes sense since the game does talk about the triforce, which is essentially a gift of power from the gods to the people in the game. It’s the symbol of ultimate power.

However, religious representation in entertainment in America can be a little tricky. As a result, Western versions of this game changed the title so that no issues with regarding religion would come up. In this case, the Western release of the game decided to take out the “Gods” part, to avoid any issues with religious symbolism, naming, etc. They also thought that the American audience would like the title A Link to the Past better. It seems a little ridiculous, but you can’t really blame them for being too careful. legend of zelda plush

4/ You Can Fight Agahnim With The Bug-Catching Net

In a battle towards the end of the game, you are facing off against Agahnim, a powerful sorcerer that is trying to bring Ganon back. This is the result of everything that you’ve been fighting for, so you know that Agahnim will be tough. Part of this battle with the dark wizard involves you having to dodge and deflect magical projectiles that he shoots at you. If you deflect them back to him, it weakens him, letting you move in to attack.

Normally, you would use the Master Sword to deflect these projectiles. However, gamers have discovered that you can use the Bug-Catching Net, a fun, but non-essential item in your inventory. Since the net acts in a similar swiping motion that your sword does, you can use them to deflect the Agahnim’s attacks. zelda teddy

5/ This Was The First Game To Introduce Cuccos

The Cuccos are a surprisingly useful animal that Link has often used to get to unreachable places, and a great source of hilarity. The best thing about the Cuccos was their special move. If you had Link attack a Cucco enough times, the Cucco would call out to its friends for help, and then you were bombarded by countless Cuccos. They would keep hurting you until you either ran out of health and died, or you managed to escape inside a building. This is both a hilarious and slightly creepy element of the game. link plush toy bowser action figure

What you may not know is that A Link to the Past was the first game to introduce the Cuccos to the franchise, as well as the Cucco Revenge Squad. Thanks to this game, we can attack Cuccos however much we want. legend of zelda plush

Pikachu Fact Check!

1/ PIKACHU WASN’T MEANT TO BE THE POKÉMON MASCOT
Ask anyone to tell you the first thing that comes to their mind when they think about Pokémon and they will undoubtedly say “Pikachu.” There’s no single Pokémon more internationally famous than Pikachu, and even those who have never held a Pokémon card, played a Pokémon game, or seen an episode of Pokémon in their life will have some familiarity with Pikachu. It’s undeniable that Pikachu is an undeniable success story of the Pokémon franchise, but it wasn’t always going to be that way.

pikachu soft toy

Originally – when the Pokémon franchise was still in the planning stages – Clefairy was chosen by executives to be the lead character for the marketing of the franchise. It was thought that Clefairy would be engaging and would draw people in, but once the animated series began production it was quickly understood that a yellow central character would be the best for the brand. The thinking went that yellow was easy for children to see from a distance, and there would be little competition as Winnie the Pooh was the only yellow mascot at the time. pikachu plush toy

2/ ASH’S PIKACHU WAS NAMED JEAN-LUC IN THE MANGA
Pokemon is a worldwide phenomenon that originated in Japan, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its Western influences. Just the idea of a small yellow rat that can store and dispense lightning is a crazy one, and it’s something that somehow caught on and made us all feel more cultured for understanding. When making the jump from Japan to everywhere else, Pikachu’s name wasn’t changed to Greg the Rat or anything ridiculous like that, it was just left the way it was and we all understood it; Pikachu was Pikachu. But was he really?

As it turns out, when Pikachu was first introduced his name was actually Jean Luc Pikachu. First mentioned by Ash but then quickly abandoned in any other iteration of the Pokémon franchise, Jean Luc Pikachu appeases fans that thought the ultra-Japanese Pokémon needed to be more French, or perhaps they’re setting up a Star Trek, but it really appeases no one else. It’s a confusing bit of Pokémon trivia that is never given much thought, but it’s one that we should all bring up on occasion just to keep things interesting. pikachu plush toy

3/ FEMALE PIKACHU HAVE A NOTCH IN THEIR TAILS
The one thing that many beginner Pokémon fans don’t understand right away is that Pikachu isn’t just the name of one singular Pikachu, it’s also the plural for an entire Pokémon species. And within that species are – of course – female and male Pikachu, each roaming around with their own distinctive personality. So how do we differentiate the two genders? Well, it’s relatively simple; at least in some cases.

Although Pikachu never had an established gender difference at the onset of the franchise, in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl gender differences were introduced to the Pokémon universe, thus making identification easier; should that be of concern to anyone for whatever reason. Since then, female Pikachu were seen with notches or indents at the end of their tails, and males weren’t. But don’t worry, this isn’t some type of Avatar-esque sex adventure whereby Pikachus everywhere are fitting their tails together. At least, we don’t think it is. pikachu plush toy

4/ PIKACHU ACTUALLY TRANSLATES INTO ENGLISH
For those of you that think Pikachu is just a cool name for a brightly colored electricity rodent, think again. “Pika” is a Japanese word for electricity crackling, and “chu” is how the Japanese describe the sound of mice. Put the two together and you have a name that spread across a generation and actually ended up inspiring some parents to name their children Pikachu; or more accurately, Electricity-Crackling-Mice.

According to Pokémon developer Junichi Masuda, Pikachu wasn’t an easy name to come up with, and creators wanted to develop something that would be a hit to both Japanese and American audiences. Eventually, after much back and forth, Pikachu was chosen, and it eventually led into the sounds that the Pokémon is famous for making. “Pika, pika chu” became a catch phrase for Pikachu and the character’s name quickly spread around the world as something that fit perfectly; despite many not knowing that it actually had a meaning behind it aside from simply sounding cool. pikachu plush toy

5/ ASH WAS ONCE TRANSFORMED INTO A PIKACHU
One of the more interesting facts in Pokémon canon is that, yes, it’s apparently possible for humans to turn into Pokémon. Although it’s not something you’ll see every day, it’s the type of Pokémon fact that makes long-time fans scratch their heads and say “huh.” A shining example of this is when in the episode Hocus Pokémon Ash found himself on the receiving end of a spell that would enable him to think like a Pokémon. Of course, the spell backfires and ends up turning Ash into a Pikachu complete with his own eyes, voice, hair, and infamous hat. pikachu plush toy

This Ash-Pikachu hybrid ended up being called Ashachu – because why not – and is still remembered fondly by fans. And while the transformation was temporary and ended up getting reversed by the next episode, it opens up a lot of possibilities for future transformations of humans into Pokémon. In the meantime, all we can do is set our desktop wallpapers to a photo of Ashachu and remember the good old days. pikachu plush toy

pikachu plush toy

6/ PIKACHU HAS AN OBSESSION WITH KETCHUP
You can tell just how important Pokémon is to the world by the level of nonsense trivia that accompanies it. For example, why would a game that requires you to catch, train, and battle with various pocket monsters require a working knowledge of what condiment is their favorite? Well, you wouldn’t, but nonetheless it’s a known fact that Pikachu is obsessed with ketchup. Not only has it been shown in the animated series at various times, but there are entire threads in online message boards and whole memes dedicated to Pikachu and his love for ketchup. pikachu plush toy

Perhaps his ketchup love comes from his love of all red foods – as the only foods that he’s ever shown eating aside from ketchup are apples and red berries. Or perhaps ketchup reminds him of Ash’s last name, which is Ketchum. Or maybe Pikachu’s creators just thought that it would be funny to see a little yellow lightning rat get overly excited by every five year old’s favorite hot dog topping. Whichever way you look at it, it’s just nice that we get to know something about Pikachu’s private life off the battlefield. pikachu plush toy

7 Fun Facts About The Mighty Thor

thor action figure tesco

In Good Company

Thor made his first appearance in an August 1962 issue of “Journey into Mystery.” That same month, Spider-Man was also introduced to the world.

The Mighty Trademark

Within a few years, Thor became so popular that Marvel had the character’s full title trademarked as “The Mighty Thor.” Fortunately, “The Sexually Inadequate Thor” is still up for grabs.

How Do You Like ‘Dem Apples?!

According to Norse mythology, Thor and his fellow Gods are granted immortality by eating magic apples that only grow in Asgard. In keeping with the mythology, in the comics, Thor would return to Asgard periodically for some of those sweet apples, proving that apples aren’t all that bad. thor action figure

thor action figure infinity war

He Has A Secret Identity In The Comics

One of the few things MCU fans might not know about Thor is that, in the comics at least, he had a secret identity.

Banished from Asgard in much the same way he was in Kenneth Branagh’s original Thor flick, the Odinson’s consciousness is transported into the body of Donald Blake, a medical student preparing to embark on a trip to Norway, of all places.

Almost by coincidence, Blake stumbles upon Mjolnir (projected as a walking stick) and hits it against a rock, transforming him into the Thor we all know and love. It was a gimmick Marvel followed for a while in the comics (a whole #159 issues in fact), until it was later retconned that Blake had always been Thor and that Odin, being the mischievous All-Father that he is, had made it so that he’d merely forgotten his Asgardian origins. thor action figure

They opted to avoid this origin onscreen, and while the Thor films haven’t always stood out as being the best in the MCU, you can’t knock them for ignoring this particular part of the character’s story.

He Has A Murder Dog, Called Thori

Nope, it’s not just Hawkeye who has a canine companion in the Marvel Universe – Thor has one too.

Called Thori, the Odinson’s faithful mutt was originally a pet of Loki’s before he attached himself to Damon Hellstrom. Travelling throughout the cosmos, Thori soon found himself in the clutches of the Collector, before being rescued by Thor. He most recently featured in the mammoth 700th issue of Aaron’s run on the series, helping Thor fend off an attack on the Nornkeep, and he’s just about the best thing ever, really.

With the Odinson seemingly poised to resume his mantle as the God of Thunder, we can only hope that Thori will stay by his side and, following in Pizza Dog’s footsteps, team up with Mewnir – Nancy Whitehead’s pet cat. thor action figure

Can we get Thori in the MCU soon? Like, Infinity War soon? He’s just too great for words.

He’s Been Unworthy For Some Time Now

Here’s a thing that should come as a surprise to most Thor fans: the Odinson’s actually been unworthy for some time now. Also he lost his arm (things haven’t been too great for him lately).

Dealt a devastating blow by an omniscient Nick Fury in the pages of Original Sin #7, Thor soon found himself without Mjolnir and without a cause to boot, seemingly ruined by the revelation that “Gorr was right”. thor action figure

Thor Nendoroid Action Figure

For those not in the know, Gorr the God Butcher was one of the villains Jason Aaron first introduced when he took over the main Thor book. Gorr, angered by the apparent lack of care afforded to his world by the Gods, wielded an enchanted blade and set about killing them all. Now obviously Thor wasn’t a massive fan of the guy whose namesake implied his own impending demise, so the two duked it out in the way most people who own a magical weapon or two would: dramatically, and with a whole lot of talking.

In the ensuing conversation, Gorr dropped the bombshell that Thor – although never explicitly – empathised with his struggle. Faced with confirmation of that fact, Thor’s struggled to reconcile with Mjolnir ever since, leading to Jane Foster’s eventual adoption of the mantle and an acceptance of the Odinson’s unworthy status.

It’s made for one of the most fascinating comic book arcs in the character’s history, and while he looks set to return to the title soon, it’s been a Journey into Mystery that everyone’s been able to get behind. thor action figure

Mjolnir Isn’t His Only Weapon

In the wake of his de-worthification, Thor – now faced with a Mjolnir-less life – had to get to grips with another weapon, an enchanted axe called Jarnbjorn.

While not as powerful as the God of Thunder’s foremost weapon, Jarnbjorn can do a job when the occasion calls for it. Forged by the Dwarves of Nidavellir and wielded by the God years before he’d use his iconic hammer, the axe was blessed with the Original Thor’s blood and was able to cut straight through even the most powerful of opponents, withstand any attack and, in one particularly unfortunate incident, sever the Odinson’s arm from his body.

It might not stack up to Mjolnir in terms of power or status, but Jarnbjorn is a reliable weapon for the old-fashioned God. Old Odinson’s gotten pretty handy with it since losing out on his hammer, and with Mjolnir now destroyed in the MCU, expect him to be wielding it come Infinity War. thor action figure

Bowser

King Bowser Koopa Sr. (in Japanese: クッパ, Kuppa, “Koopa”), known primarily in Western territory as either just Bowser or Koopa, is the main antagonist of Nintendo’s Mario franchise (occasionally serving as an anti-hero in certain games), as well as a recurring character in the Super Smash Bros. series and in the Skylanders series.

He is the tyrannical king of the turtle-like Koopa Troopa race who is constantly striving to expand his Koopa Kingdom by conquering the Mushroom Kingdom and defeat his archenemy Mario.

He is in love with Princess Peach, and his attempts of conquest almost always include kidnapping her in one way or another. Bowser first appeared as the main antagonist of the 1985 classic platform videogame Super Mario Bros., and he continued to serve as the primary antagonist of the entire Super Mario series. He also has a young son named Bowser Jr., who aids his father in his plans.

He was voiced by the late Harvey Atkin in the DIC Mario cartoons from 1989 to 1991, by Scott Burns from 2002 to 2007, and by Kenny James since 2007.

Bowser’s looks and personality have (as with most early Nintendo characters) slowly evolved over time. Most of his defining characteristics have remained the same, though.

His most recognizable features are his spiked shell, red mane, and spiked cuffs, which except for the mane have been prominent features of Bowser in all of his appearances. One point of debate over the time has been Bowser’s size, which seemed to vary in every one of his appearances.

Most of the time, he is about twice the size of Mario.

His personality varies depending on his role in the plot. In the main platformers, where he is the main antagonist, he has a very dark, brutal, merciless, destructive, cataclysmic and serious disposition. For years, it was also rumored by fans that while most other Koopas prefer vegetation in their diet, Bowser’s sharp teeth, another common feature of his, were an indicator of him preferring meat, preferably from victims he hunts down and captures. Indeed, Bowser is shown quite often to be an expert hunter, and his carnivorous side is definitively confirmed by him devouring Mario and Luigi in Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story.

In the RPGs, he shows some more amusing and funny sides of himself, as he is shown to have a talent for sarcastic wit, works very hard to live up to the “evil king” image, and very often displays a shortsighted lack of common sense. However, the most prominent part of his personality is his confidence.

When he decides to help the other denizens of the Mushroom Kingdom against a common foe, it is mostly because of his own ego. In his mind, the only one allowed to kidnap Princess Peach, destroy Mario and/or conquer the world is himself, and he flies into a dangerous rage when other villains attempt to usurp his position as “the biggest, baddest brute around”.

In the RPG games, he is shown to be a benevolent and philanthropic ruler towards his men. In Super Mario RPG, he found two of his men in Monstro Town who had happy lives there, and instead of getting angry and ordering them to return to his army, he was happy for their lives and wished the best for them.
